Build it better - Do it Yourself

Are commercial products always the best option for lab equipment? This workshop will give you some ideas for making your own lab equipment - some cheaper, some different, some better than commercially available products.

Biography

Duncan Foster has been teaching in the York Region District School Board for over 23 years. He has taught Physics, Chemistry, Earth and Space Science and general science at applied, academic, college, university and gifted levels. He has a passion for doing lab activities as inexpensively as possible - biggest bang for the least buck.
