Patrick Whippey is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Physics & Astronomy where he is currently in his forty fifth year of teaching. Currently he teaches one course a year called Conceptual Physics for non- scientists. He was president of the OAPT in 2004, and was elected an Honourary Life Member in 2011.
