Canadian Nuclear Association Educators Website
‘Nuclear Technology: Exploring Possibilities’

This workshop will showcase the Canadian Nuclear Association’s Nuclear Technologies: Exploring Possibilities website, a free, fully bilingual resource for secondary school educators. This website was developed to explain concepts, issues and people related to nuclear energy and nuclear technology. The session will feature an exploration of the contents of the eight modules on the website, covering topics from Canada’s nuclear history and careers in the nuclear industry to world energy sources and atomic theory. Teachers will participate in hands-on/minds-on investigations based on lesson plans from the website.
