Rolly Meisel
Short and Snappy Demonstrations for Grade 11 Physics
A number of attention-grabbing and fun demonstrations will be presented, as many as time permits. Instructions on creating the demonstrations will be handed out as appropriate. Some audience participation is planned.
Biography
Rolly Meisel taught physics and mathematics in the District School Board of Niagara, finishing his career as Head of Mathematics at Ridgeway-Crystal Beach High School. In retirement, he spends some of his time acting as a technical consultant, photographer, and web site author for McGraw-Hill Ryerson mathematics texts. He remains active in both the Ontario Association of Physics Teachers (OAPT) and the Ontario Association for Mathematics Education (OAME).
