SPORTS IN SPACE

Imagine taking sports off the planet to see physics in action on other worlds. It won't be long before space tourists are looking for fun activities in orbit, on the moon and other solar system bodies. This illustrated presentation is a journey through the solar system to see how everyday sports would change in different gravitational fields and atmospheric environments. Swimmers enjoy endless laps in a cylindrical zero-G swimming pool while baseball pitchers throw ball into orbit on low gravity asteroids. Snow boarders take a lot of air on the pink CO2 snows of Mars. See how physics can be fun when viewed from an extra-terrestrial perspective.
